Left Hand Voodoo

About us:
Left Hand Voodoo is a small tight knit raiding guild with 45 or so accounts, of which we maintain 30 active raiders.
All of our players are over 21, and the bulk of the guild is around 30.
Our guild chat channel is not restricted, but we expect good taste and politeness from our members towards one another. Though not aggressive to each other, if swearing and innuendo offend you this may not be the guild for you.
Our main 25man raiding nights are Tuesday & Wednesday from 8:30pm-12am with invites going out at 8pm (subject to change).
There are three types of time commitment available, a FullTimeRaider will miss up to 2 raids a month, Raiders can miss 3-5, and PartTimeRaiders are folks who can't commit to any sort of schedule but put full effort to keep their toons raid ready during the time they do play to help fill in when available.
The majority of our players are in-game from 6PM-12AM server time.
Our goal is to build a small team of dedicated players who enjoy each other's company and are focused on helping the guild and guildmates steadily progress through the content.
We random roll for loot with consideration, if someone is a loot whore they won't last long in the guild.
There is an extremely low turn over rate, most of us have been gaming together for several years.

Some of what we are looking for:
First off, a good basic person. If you think taking advantage of others and harping on about yourself is acceptable please don't bother applying. We are looking for positive mature people. Please do not be intimidated if you don't have a lot of gear or raid experience. Gear comes quickly, and as long as you are willing to take specific instruction around how to improve your role to be more effective those are the most important aspects of being a raiding member.
We are looking for people who's primary focus is dedicating their time toward advancing their character and in turn what their guild is capable of in the PVE space. Also favorable are individuals who are willing to approach the game from a stoic angle and adapt to whatever is needed of them to have the raid succeed.
We raid regularly and the sought individuals would generally be available for 3 4 hour raids a week. It is understood when real life conflicts happen. At times we adapt around the bulk of the guild concerning scheduling but the volume remains a fairly regular.
We expect all raiders to be ready for a wet run (flasks) when called for by the raid leader.
We require a guild set of add ons for raids (RDX, DBM, Skada). We also require the use of our Ventrilo server. A mic isn't necessary, it is normally enough to monitor the voice chat.
